Volunteers 2023
We need YOU! And you need US!
Volunteer with Us //
We are looking for volunteers who will bring positive energy and a strong drive to help!
Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they have the heart.
Did you know that the 9 members of the Pawsitively Elgin Committee are all volunteers? Together they put hundreds of hours into the annual event just because they all love animals and want to help them have a voice. It’s really that simple.
What are the benefits of volunteering?
Google it! There are tons of reasons to volunteer and a lot of those reasons are the same for almost everyone, but you may have one that’s very personal to you. And it doesn’t matter if you’re in high school looking for fulfil your community service hours, or if you’re retired and enjoy getting out and mingling with other people - the reasons are your own, but the cause is the same - we all want to help and give back.
Volunteering…
• Connects you with other like-minded people
• Allows you to contribute to a cause
• Gets you out of the house
• Connects you to the community
• Reduces depression and stress

Volunteering with us:
• We will help you find a position in the event that you’ll enjoy doing
