Helping Paws Rescue
Helping Paws Rescue was established in 2003. It’s a non- profit, no kill, all volunteer run animal rescue. Their mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then place them in foster homes until they are able to adopt them into loving homes they need and deserve!
Helping Paws Rescue relies on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers like you who open their hearts and homes to help them take care of the animal orphans that desperately need their help.
Teresa Pressey, the founder of Helping Paws Rescue, has been a member of the Pawsitively Elgin Dog Festival Committee since it started in 2017. In fact, she is one of the founders. She has an unwavering passion for all animals and inspires everyone around her.
Pawsitively Elgin Dog Festival is proud to donate funds from our event to Helping Paws Rescue every year.
