Helping Paws Rescue
Helping Paws Rescue is a non- profit, no kill, all volunteer run animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue homeless and abandoned animals, spay, neuter and provide medical care, and then place them in foster homes until we are able to adopt them into loving homes they need and deserve! Helping Paws Rescue relies on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers like you who open their hearts and homes to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need our help.

A Beneficiary of Pawsitively Elgin is actively involved in the promoting of the Pawsitively Elgin annual event and attends the day of the event to welcome visitors, promote animal rescue and to have a great time! Two rescues are chosen each year to split the profits from the event.
Happy’s Place Retirement Home for Dogs
We rescue senior dogs by request who are still able to lead a quality life but who are also at a higher risk of euthanasia or unable to find forever adopted homes due to old age, medical needs such as chronic illness or special need, or other factors, including cases where dog guardians can no longer care for their senior dog due to their own health or other reason.
